Now, please note, I AM a fan of Halo and the ODST's. But I am also a fan of Dead Space, which is one of the greatest survival horror games (in my personal opinion).

BUT, the ODST's use HEV pods in their operations. Isaac uses a flight suit.

What has more protection, A big clunky pod with safety parachutes, or a space suit with jetboots?

I love Halo and the ODST but they would be eaten alive by the monsters in Dead Space. (I love Dead Space to.

It depends on how fast he can adapt to the combat his normal style of fighting will get him killed and if he doesn't lose his mind to the marker. The marker is the biggest pain in the ass. ^^

oh god yes that would suuuck
though i would believe chief could have at least a chance of survival, bigger chance than a marine, he has adapted to one type of monster before, the Flood. who are assholes them selves(and they had guns..i guess that adds something to this) but as you said, if he doesn't lose his mind to the marker.tho there are a lotta people who died, which the marker could use to make sure chief gos bat-shit crazy like isaac. hopefully chief's luck would help.

One can hope he doesn't lose his mind to the marker as for the flood there push overs they never made me scared to go around a corner like dead space did. The monsters in dead space would eat the flood for a snack then make them there slaves. ^^
