When Michael woke up, he felt a white hot, stabbing pain in his left side. He looked down and saw a small chunk of metal from the door, piercing his stomach area. Michael tried to pull it out, but was given even worse pain. He tried again, this time was able to pull it all out "Arghh, God dammit!" . Michael looked over at Scott's seat. The only thing there was Scott's book. "Ah, great! Scott's gone, I have a big cut in my side…" Michael looked down at his gun holster, "And my gun is missing."

When Michael went outside the car it was still snowing, but the whole place was covered in fog. He looked left and right, and didn't see anyone in sight. "Hello!! Scott, Scott! Anyone!?" He looked down, and saw bloody footsteps. While Michael tried to figure out how they could just stop like that, he figured that they might be Scott's so he followed them until they stopped dead. Michael figured that he needed to go further down the road if he was ever to find his son. He passed by more and more trees, until he found a clearing and a sign saying "Welcome to Silent Hill".



As Michael got closer to the town, the fog seemed to get thicker. The town was quiet, like the whole town had died. No building had any lights working, not even the traffic lights. Michael didn't even hear crickets chirping. "Hello! Hello! Scott! Anyone!" he called, but no response. Michael knew that he was all alone, but that wasn't what made him worried.

It was the fog; he couldn't even see a car two feet away from him. It made him wonder what happened to everyone in the town and where Scott could be. He noticed a restaurant called "Café 5to2".  He didn't see any lights on, just like all the other buildings, but he saw...he thought he saw someone inside. Michael entered it, hoping that Scott (or someone that knew where Scott was) was inside.
