Silent Hill: Lost Ones
Chapter 3




Michael looked inside the dark café. The only signs of life of life were plates with cold, half-eaten meals on them. "Hello, anyone in here?" He said.


A large clatter came from the kitchen. He looked through the small window behind the counter, but he didn't see any thing but cooking supplies and darkness. "It's too dark. I need some light," He thought to himself. Michael flicked the light switch, but it didn't work. "Huh, that's odd." He said "Maybe they have a flashlight or something."


Michael looked through the drawers, but only found a box of matches. "Well, it's better than nothing," He mumbled to himself as he struck a match. He looked again through the window.  The kitchen looked like any other kitchen, but no one was inside. "Hey! What the hell are you doing here?" said a voice behind him. Michael turned around and saw a blonde haired man in a leather jacket, holding a gun at Michael's forehead.

"Whoa! Easy buddy, I don't want any trouble!" said Michael. "Who are you!? What the hell are you doing in Silent Hill?" said the blonde stranger. "My name is Michael Dugan; I'm looking for my son. We were on our way to see Toluca Lake when we crashed down the road. When I came to, Scott was gone and I figured he was heading to Silent Hill." Michael explained to his assailant. "I saw a shadow in this diner, and I thought it must have been Scott. When I came in I heard a clatter coming from the kitchen."

"Hmm, all right." said the stranger as he put down the gun. "My name's Sam. Sam Stevenson." "Well, why the hell were you aiming a gun at my head!?" Michael asked him angrily.  "I….I thought you were someone else. Listen, you need to get the hell out of here now! Just run until you get out of this goddamn town!" Sam told Michael "It isn't safe here. Something's happening, something bad."


"I can't! I have to find Scott first!" said Michael. "Allright….Well, the Grand Hotel is a few blocks from here. Maybe he went there? It might be in bad shape, but it's still a good place to hide from a swarm." said Sam "Just try to be careful out there."

"Thanks, Sam. I will be." said Michael as he left the diner.

As he continued down the street, Michael thought he heard four gunshots.
